Ben & Teagan's Spring Wedding at Caves House Hotel
It was a perfect sunny day at Caves House Hotel for Tegan & Ben’s wedding. Caves House, with its beautiful combination of wild Australian landscape and lush layered gardens, holds a special place in Ben and Teagan’s lives, as it was here in late February that the happy couple got engaged.
Teagan and her sister getting ready in the bridal suite. Caves house hotel has stunning heritage suites, the balcony with its stunning vista, was perfect for this pre wedding portrait of the bride.
Floral arrangements by Tamar Sykes at Mayflower Weddings & Events. Teagan wanted a blush bouquet of David Austin roses with sage foliage and eucalyptus leaves. A classic and soft arrangement with a contemporary touch from the eucalyptus, perfectly complemented by the natural environment around us on the day.
The ceremony was performed by close family friend of the bride Jacqui Tibbits, Jacqui played basketball with Teagan and eventually became Teagan’s coach. It is always a beautiful ceremony when the couple are familiar with the celebrant, giving the whole day an added personal touch.

Teagan’s Mother and Father walked her down the aisle. Don’t you think the pink and blue beautifully highlight Teagan’s gorgeous dress? Another personal touch, making their day their own.
Hot tip: The arbour arrangement being taken down and repurposed as a table arrangement at the ceremony.
Photographing couples after the ceremony is always a special, intimate moment. These moments where all the more special as Ben and Teagan revisit the place where it all began, the steps near the birds of paradise, where Ben proposed.
What a beautiful and elegant space for Ben and Teagan to celebrate for the first time as husband and wife amongst friends and family. Many new memories were made in this room.
I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Ben and Teagan, and my most heartfelt thank you for letting me be a part of their special day.
